​EcoWall are currently recruiting for a Shuttering Carpenter / Concrete Formwork Installer (ICF System Specialist)
EcoWall ICF are expanding our on-site team and are seeking an experienced tradesperson to join us on large residential projects across the region. This is a full-time, paid position working with Insulated Concrete Form (ICF) systems, formwork, and structural concrete assembly

Role Overview
The successful candidate will support the installation of ICF systems and all associated formwork tasks. The job includes set-out, assembly, concrete placement, and quality checks to ensure structures meet recognised construction standards.

Key Duties
Set out, install and align ICF formwork systems to construction drawings
Install reinforcement components, bracing, and fixings
Prepare, assemble and secure shuttering and formwork elements
Assist with concrete pours including vibration, levelling, and finishing
Cut, shape and fit formwork materials as required
Read and interpret site plans and technical drawings
Carry out quality checks for accuracy and compliance
Work safely with tools, equipment and temporary works systems
Liaise with site managers and other trades to maintain workflow
Maintain a safe and tidy working area at all times

Required Skills and Experience
Experience in formwork, shuttering, carpentry, concrete installation, or ICF construction
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Competence with hand and power tools
Strong understanding of concrete placement and structural assembly
Safe Pass
Manual Handling
Strong awareness of site safety requirements

Desirable
Formal carpentry or formwork qualification
Experience with ICF systems
Knowledge of temporary works and bracing systems
MEWP or abrasive wheels training
Experience on medium to large residential or commercial sites

Position Details
Location: Ballincollig, Co. Cork
Hours: 40 hours per week
Rate: €35,360 per year
Number of positions: 1
